Requested to carry out inspection and health check of Cargo Monitoring System.

Check defect and propose recommendation.

INSPECTION IN CCR :

Checked the COT system, found not working.

DIR M1600 Multi Monitor unstable and showing error.

Individual DIR 700 displayed error readings.

INSPECTION ON DECK

Inspectedall the Transmitters and sensors including float one by one.

Sensors - some of the sensors found full of water inside.

PCB card: All PCB settings wrong configuration. Some PCBs are faulty.

CONCLUSION

Complete system out of order. DIR M1600 is obsolete and no longer supported.

System need to be upgraded to new
