TRIM GAUGE
Tank gauging system display actual draft values for all points monitored. Angular inclination can be measured in two planes, trim and heel, by the use of one or two solid state inclinometers mounted within the superstructure or taken from the draft gauge signal and can be displayed on the ship’s bridge or similar.

Checking and rectification of Trim gauge.
Checked TRIM Gauge found Leaking on indicator and connecting fittings.

RECTIFICATION:
Tighten and rectified leakage on Indicator, fitting and deck sensing line.
Calibration with our precision calibrator.
After calibration installed in position and tested with actual signal working satisfactory.

OIL CONTAMINATION IN TRANSMITTER PANEL
Further checking found Transmitter Panel for Draft, Ballast and HFO are badly contaminated with oil.
This will give rise to reading errors.

Recommendation:
Due to very bad oil contamination. Recommended to service all the components in the panel.
As Trim Gauge signals are taken from this panel it may result in error in near future.
